"This film is an important archive and Leopold's story is compelling. We
follow his horrific experience of the First World War and the dreadful
aftermath." >> Watch excerpts of the documentary in realvideo format: 56k | 128k At the age of 93 the Austrian concentration camp survivor Leopold Engleitner returns to the places where it all happened and talks about his exciting life. This touching and impressive documentary recounts the experiences of this humble man, who, because he was a Bible Student (Jehovah's Witness) and objected to military service had to endure the brutal machinery of the Hitler regime in three concentration camps. This video includes original film material from the years
1896 to 1945, with clips showing the Austrian Kaiser Franz Joseph, scenes
from the First World War, and impressions of Buchenwald concentration
camp.
